1. Who we are
Trade Pulse ("Trade Pulse", "we", "us") provides AI phone receptionists for plumbers and other home service businesses in the United States. Trade Pulse is a trading name of Cian McGovern, a sole trader based in Blacklion, Co. Cavan, Ireland. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.
Questions about this policy or your information: cian@runtradepulse.com.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact and inquiry details you enter on our website, such as your name, business name, mobile number, email address, city and state, and your message.
- Text messaging consent: whether you agreed to receive text messages, the wording you agreed to, and the date and time.
- Account and billing details if you become a customer. Card payments are handled by our payment processor; we do not see or store full card numbers.
- Business setup details you give us to configure your receptionist, such as services, service area, hours and pricing.
Demo and receptionist calls
- When you call one of our demo lines, we receive the number you call from and the time of the call, and we record and transcribe the call. Anything you say on the call, such as your name, a phone number or details of a job, is captured in the recording and transcript. Demo calls are recorded so we can follow up with you and improve the service.
- For customers, the receptionist records and transcribes calls to the customer's business and captures the caller's details so the customer can respond. We process that information on the customer's behalf and under their instructions.
Business information and website use
- We may contact businesses by mail using publicly available business information such as business name, business address, website and business phone number.
- When you visit our pages we receive standard technical information (IP address, browser type, pages viewed and the time of your visit), and we record when a personalized page is opened or its call button is tapped. We do not use advertising cookies.
3. How we use information
- To respond to inquiries, give demonstrations and set up free trials.
- To call you back after a demo call and, if you agreed, text you about your inquiry or demo.
- To provide, run and improve the receptionist service, including reviewing recordings and transcripts.
- To bill customers, prevent fraud and abuse, keep our systems secure and meet legal obligations.
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on: your consent (text messages, which you can withdraw at any time); performing a contract with you or taking steps at your request before entering one (inquiries, trials, the service); our legitimate interests in running and improving our business and contacting businesses about our service (demo call handling, business outreach, security); and legal obligations (tax and accounting records).
4. Text messages (SMS)
We only send text messages to people who have agreed to receive them, either by ticking the optional consent box on our website or by saying yes when our demo receptionist asks whether you'd like a text summary of your demo call. Messages relate to your inquiry, demo and trial setup. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time or HELP for help. Full details are in our SMS Terms.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
All the categories of sharing described in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
5. How we share information
We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only with service providers that process it for us under contract, and only as needed for the purposes above:
- Website hosting and data storage (Cloudflare)
- Telephone numbers, calling and text messaging (Twilio)
- AI voice receptionist, call recording and transcription (ElevenLabs)
- Customer records, follow-up calls and email (Close, Google Workspace)
- Internal notifications and workflow automation (Slack, n8n)
- Payments (Stripe) and postal mail (Lob)
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or reorganization of the business, in which case this policy continues to apply to it.
6. International transfers
We are based in Ireland and our service providers are mostly in the United States. Where personal information from the European Economic Area or the UK is transferred to the United States, we rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, or on Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. How long we keep information
- Inquiries and demo call records: up to 24 months after our last contact, unless you become a customer.
- Text messaging consent records: for as long as you are subscribed and up to 5 years afterwards, to show that consent was given.
- Customer account and billing records: for the life of the account and as long as tax law requires afterwards (usually 6 years).
- Call recordings and transcripts for customers: as set by the customer, or deleted within 90 days after the account ends.
8. Security
We use reputable providers, encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and secret keys to protect information. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we will notify you and the relevant authorities of a breach where the law requires.
9. Your rights and choices
- Text messages: reply STOP to any message, or email us.
- Calls and email: ask us to stop contacting you and we will.
- Access, correction and deletion: you can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing and to data portability.
Email cian@runtradepulse.com to use any of these rights. We will respond within 30 days and will not treat you differently for using them. If you are in the EEA, you can also complain to the Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie) or your local authority.
10. Children
Our service is for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell customers by email.
